- Tom plays a Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster guitar, split into a Mesa Boogie 
Triple Rectifier amp powering two Mesa Boogie 4x12 cabinets, and a Marshall 
JCM 900 amp powering yet a third Mesa Boogie 4x12 cabinet. He uses an X-Wire 
digital wireless system. Tom plays Ernie Ball Heavy Bottom strings, and uses 
Dulop Tortex .60mm picks. He wears Hurley clothes, Arnette sunglasses, 
and Converse shoes. Tom fake tans at Sun City Tanning Studios, and worries 
way too much about how he looks. "How's my hair?" 

- Tom Delonge (guitar, vocals) met Mark and Scott in 1994 at an annual Future 
Proctologists of America camping trip. Gathered around the campfire, these 
disturbed kids recognized in one another the same love for songs involving 
girls, friends, life and chronic diarrhea. On that night, a legend was born.  

- The whole band wears Dickies shorts and J Crew boxers, even though they have to pay for them.
